Lungching Green Tea Loose

Our Chinese Lungching green tea is beautiful, light, and super refreshing. The flat, whole green leaves of Lungching, which translates as Dragon's Well, produce a pale-yellow liquor that taste divine.

This beautiful Chinese loose leaf green tea has subtle herbaceous and chestnut notes that will captivate and draw you in. It’s clean and refreshing taste will leave you wanting more, especially when you take into consideration all the health benefits associated with good green teas.

If you're not sure about green teas, then this is a great introduction. It’s mellow tasting and very welcoming to aficionados and newcomers alike.

However, a note of caution. Be careful to look after this one when brewing. As with other green teas it’s sensitive to boiling water and the leaves can become scorched leading to a slightly bitter taste.

Prepare it correctly and you’re on to a winner. It needs to be brewed for 3 minutes using fresh water at 80°C. For those of you without a swanky temperature-controlled kettle (or a food thermometer), we recommend opening the lid on the kettle carefully and waiting a few minutes before pouring.
